On a Sunday afternoon, I took a walk with Nattalie and Ryan on an elopement wedding inspiration shoot. We tromped through the snow, braved the cold, and marveled at the majestic mountains surrounding us. With elopement weddings becoming an increasingly popular desirable to avoid the wedding planning stress, winter provides a beautiful backdrop.
A barn in the fields during a rainy day in November rang the wedding bells for Tim and Aubrey. After preparing for the day in century-old farmhouses, the couple met up in an intimate moment and made their way to the barn where the would exchange vows in front of God, family, and friends. We stole away for bride and groom portraits in the pouring rain- we ran for cover at times while ventured out into the mist at other moments. This couple- they giggled, kissed passionately, made silly faces, and whispered their hopes of the future. I love them dearly, and I am so thankful that I was able to share such a special day with them. Big thanks to my partner Kristin Hallak of Kristin Hallak Photography and Makayla O. Designs for such amazing styling and flowers!
I took a walk with Katie and James on a sunny and warm evening in October. And let me tell you, Red October is no joke! As the sun went down, we were engulfed in warm reds, oranges, and yellows. We ran to catch the sunset and landed out in the Sound. Katie danced- and got James to dance too! We laughed and got to know each other. I can't wait for their wedding! Enjoy this glimpse of our time together!
